Katice Helenski

Studio Katice Helinski is a full service design firm offering services from interior design, renovation, adaptive reuse and ground-up construction. With past experience in design-build, Katice strongly values collaboration with clients, as well as the craftspeople and trades involved in construction. A driving force behind much of her work is that good design applies to every scale of project and all built form can be made better through defining the needs of the user, and designing toward that purpose in thoughtful and often subtle ways.

Driven by an interest in how architecture shapes communities, Katice also participated in the work of the nonprofit organization, Hester Street Collaborative, which worked within the Lower East Side to engage local public school students and the surrounding community in the development of public works in their neighborhood. In addition to her ongoing work in New York City, she is also active in the local design and arts community of St. Petersburg, FL.
